About Woolverton Shire

Woolverton Shire consists of 11 suburbs, and has a population of 50,000 people. A cultural, redisential and business centre, Woolverton Shire offers much to both its residents, business owners and visitors.

Woolverton Council has seven (7) elected representatives (Councillors). The last general Local Government election for Woolverton Council was held in July 2000. The next election of Councillors for Woolverton Council will be held in September 2003.


Council meetings are held at Council Chambers, 2 Conder Street, Woolverton, on the fourth Tuesday of every month at 7pm. Committee meetings are held on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Tuesdays of the month, as follows:

  • Building & Development Committee -
    1st& 3rd Tuesday at 7.00pm
  • Services & Policy Committee -
    2nd Tuesday at 7.00pm."
